Work control for hourly-rented equipment

We know when a machine started its engine, when it was moving, and how long it stood idle. We calculate working time in several variants, in line with the terms of your subcontractor agreement.

Work reports in one place

Work reports get signed after the fact, go missing, and are error-prone. WorkTime organizes manually filled-in reports and aggregates them in one place.

Real savings

How much do you save with BuildiBox?

Counter module

Delivery record-keeping costs

A comprehensive module for automated management and control of material haulage on deliveries from the quarry or within the construction site.

Tally-clerk system

Record-keeping costs using tally clerks:

monthlyPLN 50 000
over the contractPLN 1 500 000
BuildiBox system

Record-keeping costs using the BuildiBox system:

monthlyPLN 31 200
over the contractPLN 936 000
By replacing tally clerks with BuildiBox technology, we save approx. PLN 500 000 over a 3-year contract – and that’s only the beginning of the savings. (Sample construction site, more details in the “system” tab)

Frequently asked questions.

How the system works, how much it saves, and what installation on a contract looks like.

System and modules
How does the BuildiBox system work?+
BuildiBox is a system for automatic control of machine working time, automatic trip counting, and material deliveries to the construction site. Once it is rolled out, the traditional role of the on-site tally clerk becomes redundant – no more manually copying delivery notes (WZ) or collecting paper confirmations. You get our dedicated devices, BuildiBox Tracker and BuildiBox Sensor, which register trips on their own, connect to weighing systems, and collect accurate data in the app in real time.
How is BuildiBox different from ordinary GPS in trucks?+
Ordinary GPS only shows you where a vehicle drives. BuildiBox automatically counts completed trips, registers loading and unloading (e.g. counts excavator buckets), controls material deliveries from the quarry to the construction site, and looks after safety on the contract (e.g. warns against driving with the bed raised).
Is BuildiBox equipment and software available from resellers or other vendors?+
No – the entire BuildiBox ecosystem is our own original work. Both the dedicated hardware (such as BuildiBox Sensor) and the app and product modules (Counter, Clocks, BuildiBox WorkTime) are built entirely in-house. This means you get a polished, integrated tool straight from its creators – no middlemen, with guaranteed continuous development and direct support from our team.
What is the COUNTER module?+
It is our flagship system for automatic management and control of material haulage. It eliminates manual delivery note (WZ) records and prevents errors and potential manipulation. Instead of waiting for summaries, you have real-time data and know exactly what is happening with material and equipment work on your construction site.
What is the BuildiBox Data Management service?+
It is our remote service in which we take over 95% of your data verification and control work. Instead of burdening your site engineers, we compare quarry reports daily, verify subcontractor summaries, and check that trips match the system. All that stays on your side is issuing the equipment and enforcing one rule: no settlement gets approved without backing in the system.
Savings, control, and settlements
How much can you really save by rolling out BuildiBox?+
The savings are plain to see. The traditional record-keeping model (tally clerks at scales and dump sites plus an office worker entering the data) costs around PLN 50 000 a month on an average 16 km road contract. Fully equipping a fleet of 120 trucks serving such a section with BuildiBox devices and the app costs around PLN 31 200 a month. On a typical 3-year contract, that saves you over PLN 500 000. And that is only the beginning of the savings.
Why is automation with BuildiBox better than hiring people to count trips?+
Manually recording deliveries and paper delivery notes (WZ) is time-consuming, costly, and highly prone to human error. A tally clerk at every storage yard or dump site adds heavy payroll costs, and the information still arrives with a delay. BuildiBox automates this process. The system records only dispatches that actually happened and gives you the history and a running balance around the clock.
How do we verify deliveries from the quarry?+
We integrate with the quarry scale – then the data is available in BuildiBox within minutes of weighing – or we process a file of weighing delivery notes (WZ) daily. This data is compared with the trips registered by BuildiBox. Once receipt is confirmed for a given day, the matter is closed and nobody comes back to make corrections at the end of the month.
How are carriers and subcontractors settled?+
Settling carriers and subcontractors is simple thanks to reports available in convenient formats – also designed on request. In addition, as part of the BuildiBox Data Management service, users get access to a dedicated settlement platform created specifically for a given construction site. Carriers see their assigned trucks and verified trips there – you pay them only for trips that actually took place and were confirmed in the system.
Equipment, installation, and on-site operation
How does BuildiBox handle frequently rotating subcontractor trucks?+
The system was designed for the realities of a construction site. Frequent vehicle changes, new subcontractors joining, or moving devices from truck to truck are no problem at all. Our devices are easy to install and the whole process is handled instantly. As a result, the general contractor gets fully automatic, hands-off, low-cost control over the entire fleet, no matter how dynamically the trucks on the contract change.
How are BuildiBox devices installed?+
Installation is quick and simple. Drivers or subcontractors can easily mount our sensors and devices themselves. This means the equipment can easily be moved from one vehicle to another whenever needed.
What if we move a device to another truck?+
The device is easy to move, but the vehicle registration number must be updated in the system right away. Without updating the number, trips will keep registering to the old vehicle, which will make it impossible to automatically match quarry dispatches with app records later.
Do we have to buy the equipment outright?+
No. We provide the devices in a flexible subscription model. Service, device replacement, and updates are fully on us.
What if we lose network coverage on the construction site or at the scale?+
Our devices record events locally in their memory. Even if there is no coverage at the loading or unloading point, the data is sent to BuildiBox as soon as the connection is restored.
